Description
Smart Green City is an integrated model of a sustainable and technology-enabled urban environment. The project demonstrates the use of renewable energy, automation, sensors, smart lighting, waste management and security systems in a modern city. Solar panels can generate electrical energy for selected city functions, while LDR-based automatic lighting can control street lights according to ambient conditions. Ultrasonic sensors can be used to monitor waste-bin levels, and a laser-based security system can detect unauthorized entry or interruption of a security beam. An Arduino or ESP32 microcontroller can coordinate the different systems. The project demonstrates how automation, IoT and renewable-energy technologies can contribute to efficient, sustainable and safer urban infrastructure.
