Description

Hyperloop Transportation System is an advanced transportation concept based on the movement of a passenger or cargo pod through a low-pressure tube. The prototype demonstrates two important technologies: reduction of air pressure inside the tube and magnetic levitation of the pod. A vacuum pump is used to demonstrate the creation of a low-pressure environment, while magnetic components demonstrate the principle of levitating and guiding the vehicle with reduced mechanical contact. By reducing aerodynamic resistance and using an efficient propulsion and levitation system, the Hyperloop concept aims to enable very high-speed transportation. This prototype provides an educational demonstration of vacuum systems, electromagnetism, magnetic levitation, transportation engineering and futuristic mobility.
